APP AUDIT & HEURISTIC EVALUATION
I collaborated with the team to audit and evaluate the THAI Airways app, organizing findings into seven categories. By visually grouping color-coded feedback, we identified recurring trends and prioritized issues such as notice readability and booking widget usability, which informed sprint planning and reinforced our client recommendations.

I supported a competitive analysis of both direct and experience-led airline platforms, focusing on key touchpoints such as the homepage and booking flow. Comparing these with the existing Thai Airways application revealed clear gaps, including the absence of a destination section, a feature consistently present across competitors and critical for early trip inspiration and discovery.

One of the main design solutions was revamping the Thai Airways app with a modern, consistent look while also improving key features such as My Trips, Book Flight, Flight Status, and the Home page, all accessible through the bottom navigation.

A streamlined interface lets users redeem flight tickets with loyalty miles in just a few taps. Simple, clear visuals transform a previously complex process into a smooth, mobile-friendly experience.

Toggle on Redeem Miles
A simple toggle switch was added above the booking widget to activate the miles redemption feature.

Select your Flight(s) and Seat(s)
Users select their preferred flight and seat type, with the required miles displayed clearly. If they wish to compare options, alternative dates can be easily selected to review and compare mile rates.

Review Passenger(s)
Users can select which passenger(s) to redeem miles for, with the list displayed through the airline’s Royal Orchid membership nominee system.

Review Booking Information
Before proceeding to payment, users will review all crucial booking details. Information is compartmentalized for quick scanning, with the option to expand and view more in-depth details if desired.

Make Payment
Opens the 2C2P Payment Gate.
